The girl who only did you rights- poem

I was once a simple girl,
A smile that sparked,
Eyes that glittered and a touch that was tender,
You decided, to give me a sender.

You riddled your words into lies,
For attention only for your eyes,
Selfish to your little core,
You wanted to be loved,
Yet couldn’t give it back anymore.

Your touch burnt flesh tender,
Leaving fear in its wake,
You care not for your own sake,
And here I grew weaker.

You promise me happiness,
But tore me not once, but twice,
You twisted my words into wrongs,
Like a burning tong,
You marked me and my flesh diced.

My smiles wavers, my heart weakens,
Yet looking at you made me sick,
I was a backup plan,
I couldn’t take it no more.

So I stood away from you,
And now you watch in regret,
“why was I so foolish?”
But that’s all you got left.

While I live my life carefree,
You’ll be marked by your mistakes,
And you’ll remember,
The girl who did you only rights.
Just about those relationships where the other half is a douche.  In the end, they're not the one.

Beautiful poem. Full of sadness, hurt, and regret.
